SENIOR PORTRAIT FAQs
Meredith is the ONLY photographer in the area that provides professional styling as a part of your senior portraits. Not only do you get professionally styled hair and makeup application, you also get a custom wardrobe consultation. Since all of these services are included in your session fee, you save a TON of money!
A totally natural makeup-free face or regular everyday makeup is hard to see when photographed by a professional camera in natural light. Your makeup stylist will use highly pigmented products so you look absolutely beautiful – you can go as natural or as glam as you like!
Bring lots and lots of options! My stylist and I will work with you to put together looks that reflect your personality and coordinate well with the locations we’ll shoot at. The number of outfits depends on which package you book, but be sure to bring a lot of options and a variety of things so we have plenty to choose from – jeans, pants, skirts, shorts, tops, dresses, shoes and accessories. Don’t be shy to bring way more than you think you need because more options are always better than not enough!
We will shoot some of your images in-studio and then head outside! At your consultation, we’ll talk about your ideas for locations and how you want your images to look and feel. Want something a little more edgy or urban? We’ll shoot downtown! Hoping for something soft and natural? We’ll shoot outdoors in a field or near water. Little Rock has a ton of options for your senior portraits, so I’m sure we’ll find a spot that’s perfect for your shoot!
All of your final images will be retouched in photoshop by Meredith or a professional retoucher. The edits applied to your images are done to bring out your natural beauty, not make you look like a totally different person. Retouching includes the softening and smoothing of skin, removal of under eye circles, enhanced eyes, color adjustments as needed .
If you book the Classic or the Signature packages, you’ll have your images ready for proofing approximately 3-4 weeks after your session. For Luxe clients, on the day of your shoot we’ll find a time for you to come back into the studio for your viewing session. Your viewing is scheduled approximately two weeks after your shoot. At your viewing, you’ll select your images and which products you would like to purchase. Once your order is placed, it will take 3-5 weeks for delivery.
Most photographers put your images up on a website or on a disc/dvd and leave it to you to figure out what to do with them, which can be very confusing. When your images are ready, you’ll come back to the studio for your viewing session. A viewing session is a fancy phrase for an in-person ordering appointment. The session begins with a slideshow of all of your gorgeous fully-edited images, then Meredith will walk you through all of the products and packages. You can touch, feel and handle Meredith’s sample products – we want you to know and fall in love with the products you’ll purchase so you know what you’re getting before you buy. Meredith will help you decide which images to print and what products to include in your order. It’s super easy and super fun!
Yup! My smallest package the Classic, is a digitals-only option.

I usually recommend a complimentary consultation, either in-person or on the phone, so that we have the chance to get to know each other and go over any questions you might have. What Happens After the Consultation? I’ll put together a contract for you to review. If everything looks good to you, you’ll sign and send in a deposit to confirm your booking. After that, I’m officially yours and you can begin planning for your photoshoot!
