Last weekend I traveled to Fayetteville for Nancy and Jackson’s engagement portraits. After changing our shoot time several times due to stormy weather, we finally decided just to get out there and take advantage of the sun even though the sky was gray. We hit several beautiful locations. Nancy found a beautiful piece of land in Springdale near their town-home, and and I ran across some wildflowers in Fayetteville. We also made a stop on Dickson street for a few urban shots. There so many wonderful images that I’m posting their session in two parts – check back for part two!

I love how cozy and warm this shot feels.

The shot below might be my favorite from the day. I’m not sure exactly what it is about this image that strikes me, but I just love how happy Nancy looks and how engaged they are with each other. This is the stuff that makes my job so much fun!
